Lisse was one of the 30 towns and villages chosen to file past Sinterklaas in Soestdijk palace. Lisse of course choose a decorated float for this important occasion.
In remembrance
We received the sad news that Jan Hein de Boer passed away. Jan Hein was for many years a dedicated volunteer. He was secretary of the jury from 2007 to 2019.

The "Flowers from the Heart" campaign continued this weekend with a new activity ''Homemade Hearts from the Parade".

This year the parade has been cancelled so instead of bringing the people to the parade, we are bringing the parade to the people.
Time for our volunteers
In a period when minutes seem to last for hours, time can also race past us. We remember hearing for the first time that the parade was cancelled. What a disappointment but at the same time it made us even more determined to shine in 2021 with all the glory along the 42 km route.
