Tickets and entrance
After booking your South Lisse Grandstand ticket through our website, you will receive a confirmation mail with subject “Your ticket(s)” containing the details of your booking. You will require this email (digital or print) when arriving at the grandstand.
Not received an email? It is also possible to enter the grandstand with the booking name and order number. A list of order numbers and names is available at each grandstand.

Getting There
By car:
From Amsterdam, take the A4 motorway to Den Haag (The Hague). When the motorway splits continue on the A44. Take exit 3 (Noordwijk, Noordwijkerhout) and at roundabout turn right following the signs for Lisse. When entering Sassenheim, at the second roundabout turn right. You are now on the Heereweg. After about 1 kilometer, a little before the first traffic lights you will see the grandstand situated at your left hand. The exit will be closed at 13.00 hrs.

By public transport:
The nearest train station is Sassenheim a small station on the line between Leiden and Hoofddorp/Amsterdam. From here take bus 50 to Haarlem. After approx. 5 km alight at bus stop “Beekbrug”. The Grandstand is opposite the bus stop. You can't miss it.
From Leiden Central Station you can also take bus 50 to Haarlem. The bus station is immediately outside the main station building. Alight at the bus stop “Engelenbuurt”. From here, it is about 1 km walk to the grandstand. Just follow the road and the grandstand will be on your right hand side.

Parking
If you booked a parking ticket, you can park your car behind the grandstand. Please keep your confirmation mail at hand, so we avoid waiting lines. See map below for the location.
Travel times
Roads are blocked early in the day as the Flower Parade attracts more then a million visitors each year. We therefore we advise to travel ahead of time. Our advise is to plan to be at the grandstand around 11.00 hrs.
The Flower Parade is expected to pass the Grandstand at 14.30 hrs. Road towards the grandstand will become conjested by traffic jams from 11.00 hrs. The roads are officially blocked from 13.00 hrs, after which travel by car to the grandstand location is no longer possible.
Extra options: Walk and Lunch to Go
At the grandstand you will be handed a leaflet with coupons for a (hot) beverage and a snack. The leaflet contains some interesting highlights to look out for during your walk including the famous flower fields. The walk is available in the App Komoot. To access, please download the App. The map can also be viewed in a browser without the navigation.
Lunch To Go:
If you ordered Lunch To Go, this is available at the entrance to the Grandstand. Search for a nice spot to eat nearby, or sit and enjoy your lunch at the grandstand.
